2: REFLECTIVE ON GLOBALIZING HRIS PART 1
In order to make
organization can across border using Transnational Solution. Cristopher Barlette and Sumantra Ghoshal
categorize worldwide organizational models into four types. The model include Multinasional
model, Global Model, International model and Transnational model.
Multinasional
refer to company take a responsive approach to implementing and managing HRIS
by being sensitive to local and regional differences. Global refer to company
take efficiency approach to implementing and managing HRIS by building a single,
standardised centralised system. International Model refer to organization
takes a learning and sharing approach to ensure HRIS can be implement and can
be manage by transferring and adapting knowledge expertise to local
organizations while continuing to retain considerable influence and control
over the local organizations. Transnational model is one that embrace and
exploits such parodexes. Using this model will bring the efficiencies through an
intergrated network of competencies and process, provides flexibility through
specialised roles and responsibilities and also creates a learning organization
through the facilitation of multiple innovation processes.
Several different
strategic can be use to select the best model that suitable for our
organization:
· Responsiveness
through local differentiation
· Efficiency
through global intergration
· Learning thhrough
leveraging worlwide innovation and knowledge sharing.

HRIS: Moving to a Transnasional Solution provides futher information regarding
the four HRIS Model. This article mention about the advantage and disadvantage
of this four model HRIS. Base from that article i can conclude that all this
model have their own value. How to manage and choose between this model is base
from that company, how their strength and weakness. But its clearly state that
the Transnational is the best because its have ability to respond effectively
and swiftly to the demands.
